Recently, CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Co., Ltd. won the bid for Phase III Section 1 of Seaward channel of Guangzhou Harbor. The contract value amounted to RMB690 million with construction period of 883 days. It is expected to be completed before 31 December 2011.
This seaward channel is considered as a lifeline of Guangzhou Harbor, and also a major seaward channel of Humen Port and west port inShenzhen. When completed, the depth of the channel will be -17m, which will further strengthen the Comprehensive Competition of Guangzhou Harbor.
