On 8th March 2010, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won Section III of Chengdu-Anyue-Chongqing Expressway. The bidding price amounted to RMB2,850 million with construction period of 24 months.
The whole highway is 174.8km long, while section III is 58.3km long and composed of 46 large and medium bridges, 112 culverts, four pedestrian overpasses, 22 grade separations, and four interchanges.
Cheng-An-Yu Expressway is the shortest highway connecting Chengdu and Chongqing.
